Glico Honey & Milk Pocky

August 28th, 2007 by Terry

Just when you thought you’d never see a Pocky review again, here’s one out of nowhere! Saying that though I do have about 8 boxes sitting in my chocolates filled box at the moment, it’s just that there’s plenty of things to review first…so it will indeed be awhile before they go up.

I’m not actually too fond of honey, and with milk…seems like an odd combo, and that’s how it tasted. Like most Pocky flavours though, they’re addictive as hell, and after I’d eaten about 10 of them they grew on me a little.

The taste is sorta milky, but there’s definitely a kick of something else there is well. Is it honey? I don’t know, because I don’t eat it, but there’s something almost tangy there. It’s not a bad flavour, just an unusual one, but by the end of the pack I actually found myself wanting more.

The box as you may be able to see is pretty decent, a nice picture of a bee on there, carrying a pot of honey. No jug of milk or any other cliche, but that doesn’t bother me.

I got these for free from J-List, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have bothered with them. This is a tough one really, as for most people Pocky isn’t THAT easy to get hold of. If you’re putting an order in and like honey then get a box, otherwise in my opinion there are much better flavours out there, but you could do worse.

The box has 208 calories, 3.1g of Protein, 25.9g of Carbohydrates and 10.2g of Fat.
