Kinder Cocoa Cream Happy Hippo
I reviewed the normal Happy Hippo previously, calling it one of the tastiest chocolates I’ve ever had, despite there being no actual chocolate there. Well now there is, with the cocoa cream Happy Hippo.
This is the same wafer hippo, only it has both a milky centre, and a “fat-reduced” cocoa filling as well. As you can see in the second picture, the chocolate is on top, and the milk is on the bottom, again they’re both very thick and don’t mix, instead sitting there separately.
And it’s so awesomely delicious. It’s quite sweet of course, but the taste is just fantastic. The wafer tastes good, the cocoa is more…well, cocoa than chocolate, and it mixes really well with the milk as well. This is a fantastic little treat, and considering how cheap they are it’d definitely be worth picking one up to see how they are.
As for whether this is better than the Hazelnut Happy Hippo or not, it’s down to your own tastes. Do you prefer hazelnut or cocoa? Whichever one you like more, the Happy Hippo is there for you.

if you reviewed the hippo with no chocolate in does that mean you have started to branch out from just reviewing chocolate bars?

it might have come up somewhere along the lines
nah i was just wondering are you gonna do all kinds of snack foods ect..or just chocolate snack foods if you know what i mean *chuckles*

I know what you mean. This is still kinda chocolatey though, so I allowed it. Unless I literally finish reviewing all the chocolate in Britain (there’s a chance that may eventually happen) or get sick of chocolate or something, then I’ll be keeping it mainly to chocolate.
If you have something specific in mind then tell me and maybe I’ll grant your wish.

well at the moment im having a mad phase of chocolate biscuit or chocolate wafer bars…be nice to see what other people thought of them and what ones to try..loving caramel shortcakes tooo….mmm

Haha. The Cocoa Happy Hippos were the ones I referred to in the regular Happy Hippo post. It’s nice to know I inspired something. Haha. Just kidding. But yeah, these are very good. I love them though I’ve only been able to obtain two packs of 5 my whole life. Yummy though.
