The penultimate licorice snack in the RJ’s series. This is the Licorice Choc Log; ‘a licorice log filled with a sweet, chocolatey centre’.

This is the first of the series that actually has ordinary licorice flavoured licorice. They’ve done it well, it’s very strong though so you have to really like licorice to try and enjoy this, something you didn’t necessarily have to do to enjoy the others.

The unfortunate thing is that it completely overpowers the chocolate. You can FEEL the chocolate on your tongue, but you can’t taste it at all, due to how strong the licorice is. This is a shame because it renders the chocolate almost useless, it just feels like empty calories.

Still, it’s a good bar and is a solid line-up for RJ’s. The bar has 179 calories, 2g of Protein, 32g of Carbs (23g of which sugars) and 4.6g of Fat (3.9g of which saturates).
